I started my career as
a private investigator.
I did that for a few years and then I
transitioned into
a paralegal position for a law firm.
I started here at Chanfrau & Chanfrau
in 2005 as a litigation paralegal.
I worked as a paralegal for a number of
years, and then went to law school while
working here, and I've been an associate
attorney now going on five years.
It was with the encouragement and support
of not only my family, my wife and my
kids, but my Chanfrau family, the Chanfrau
family themselves, that encouraged me
and supported me to go to law school.
They allowed me that opportunity
and it's probably the greatest
decision I've ever made.
I do primarily personal
injury and wrongful death.
It goes back to why we
call it a family firm.
I'm truly grateful.
The thing I enjoy the most about being an
attorney is being able to
help people in a time of need.
When I take on a case,
I want the client to know that,
first and foremost, the case is
going to be handled thoroughly.
That we're going to handle it with care,
that we're going to handle
it timely, efficiently.
Most importantly, that the client's going
to be involved in the process
every step of the way.
Something that my mentor,
William Chanfrau Sr.,
who started this firm taught me many years
ago, he said, "Greg," he said, "if you
treat people with respect
and do what's fair, right, and reasonable,
you'll never be wrong." I've tried to
utilize that philosophy in my practice,
and it has served me extremely well.
