My husband was involved in a very serious automobile accident that rendered him an incomplete quadriplegic in 1982, and I discovered then that I had a passion for helping people. I decided that there was no better place I could do it than to help injured victims, and the Chanfraus have an empathy for those kinds of people and I discovered that that was my passion as well.
My name is Roxie Courson. I've been a paralegal with Chanfrau & Chanfrau since 1985. When people come into Chanfrau & Chanfrau, they're injured victims, they can expect a team. We're all there to help them, and we work together as much as we can to help each other. And I like to feel like I'm more than just their paralegal, that I'm their friend.
My daughter has worked with me at Chanfrau & Chanfrau since 2002. She's an administrative assistant, and I'm proud to have her follow in my footsteps. My daughter-in-law works for our office as well.
You don't bring your family in unless it's a special place. Chanfrau & Chanfrau is special by itself, and I like to think that we made it a little more special by coming on board.
