What Is a T-bone Accident?
T-bone accidents are also known as side-impact or broadside collisions. The front of one vehicle collides with the side of another vehicle to create a “T” shape. These accidents are particularly dangerous in that there is little protection afforded to the occupants of the vehicle being hit from the side, especially in older-model passenger cars.
